Start with the workflow, not the AI demo
The useful version of AI work usually starts with a specific bottleneck, a small bot, and a human approval loop. Boring wins.

Most businesses do not need a mystical AI transformation initiative.
They need one ugly workflow to stop eating the week.
A good first bot has a job you can explain without hand-waving:
- ask better intake questions
- summarize new leads
- draft follow-up
- flag missing information
- route work to the right person
- write a clean note before the human decides
The trick is not making the bot sound smart. The trick is giving it a narrow lane, a useful output, and a review step before anything expensive or public happens.
That is the Ryan Builds Bots bias: ship a small system that helps today, then improve it until it earns the right to be bigger.
